Anthony Ledesma is the Founding Partner of DIA Capital Group. With nearly 20 years of experience and a career spanning over $40 billion in commercial real estate transactions, Anthony brings deep industry expertise across both advisory and principal investment roles.
Before founding DIA Capital Group, Anthony was a Managing Director and Co-Head at Hodges Ward Elliott (HWE), where he played a key role in expanding the platform beyond New York and into new verticals. Prior to HWE, he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of JLL’s New York Institutional Investment Sales team, where he became the youngest professional ever promoted to MD at that level within the firm.
Over the course of his career, Anthony has led landmark transactions, including 550 Madison Avenue / Sony Building (Office – $1.4 billion), 5 Bryant Park (Office – $640 million), Tower 56 (Office Recapitalization – $275 million), The Cole (Multifamily – $130 million), and 156 East 56th Street (Land – $104 million). He began his career at CBRE’s Institutional Properties Group, executing both buy-side and sell-side mandates for institutional clients.
On the principal investing side, Anthony has also held senior leadership roles, including Head of Investments at Wolf Realty, where he oversaw an 86-property multifamily portfolio across the tri-state area.
He holds a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and is a frequent guest lecturer for the David Hirsch Fellows Program at NYU. Anthony lives in New York with his wife, Danielle, and their two children, Isabella and Antonio.
Matthew Lerner is a Managing Director of DIA Capital Group. With nearly 15 years of experience and over $6 billion in commercial real estate transactions, Matthew Lerner is a seasoned professional in both advisory and principal investing. He specializes in capital markets and investing across various asset classes, and is intimately involved in each step of the process, including investment structuring, marketing, underwriting, and sourcing.
Previously, Matthew was a Vice President at Eastdil Secured, where he was a key member of the Tri-State Equity and Sales Advisory team. His notable transactions include the sale or capitalization of 19 Dutch Street ($500 million), 55 Broad Street ($390 million), 180 Maiden Lane ($300 million), and 655 Madison Avenue ($160 million). Before Eastdil, Matthew served as a Vice President at Monday Properties, a national developer and operator of office and multifamily assets, with a focus on the DMV region, Tri-State area, and Southeast markets. He began his career on JLL’s New York Sales and Advisory team.
Matthew holds a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate from NYU Schack Institute and both an M.S. & B.S. from the Syracuse University Whitman School of Management. He remains actively engaged with the university’s alumni community. He resides on the Upper East Side with his wife, Ali, and daughter, Sylvie.
Michelle Steer is the Operations Officer at DIA Capital Group. She brings a strong background in operations management, legal and executive support, and corporate event coordination, consistently delivering results in fast-paced, high stakes environments.
Previously, Michelle served as an Operations Officer at Hodges Ward Elliott, LLC, where she played a key role in the firm’s New York office expansion, overseeing daily office operations and coordinating commercial real estate and hotel transactions and events. Her expertise spans real estate and hotel brokerage operations, legal affairs, and executive support, having worked with high-level executives at MacAndrews & Forbes and boutique law firms specializing in corporate and financial law.
Michelle holds a B.S. from St. John’s University and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, Andrew, and son, Blake.
